OUR Story

We Share a Vision For nearly 16 years, UNCC has worked hand in hand with communities across East African, to create meaningful and lasting global change. We are a compassionate humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable seniors, children, and mothers through emergency relief, education, livelihood development, and clean‑water programs. Our commitment is to uplift lives, strengthen resilience, and build brighter futures for those who need it most.

UNCC works to protect and empower the most vulnerable across four key areas:
-
Seniors (60+) – Supporting dignity, care, and wellbeing
-
Children – Ensuring safety, protection, and education
-
Climate Resilience – Strengthening communities against environmental challenges
-
Host Communities – Promoting inclusion, protection, and social cohesion
Together, we are building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities where no one is left behind.
UNCC - Continuing Support Beyond Emergencies
While many organizations respond at the height of an emergency, UNCC steps in when others leave.
In many communities, once emergency teams withdraw due to limited funding or shifting priorities, vulnerable seniors and children are often left without continued support. UNCC fills this critical gap through a community-led and volunteer-driven model, ensuring that care and assistance do not stop when the crisis fades from attention.
We remain on the ground to:
-
Support seniors and children most at risk
-
Provide ongoing care, protection, and basic assistance
-
Work with communities to stabilise and rebuild lives over time
UNCC stands with communities not only in crisis—but long after, when support is needed most.
